Come out to see this play it has been running for 7 years!!! Let’s keep it going for 7 more! This play had an ecellent cast, was very educational, funny and had a serious story line to keep the audience engaged.

Favorite moment: The funniest moment was when Freeman’s dad fell off the stage!

Absolutely Amazing

This play was amazing. I would tell everyone to go see it. It touches upon everyday life issues but at the same time it was so fun to watch. I’d definitely go see it again.

Platanos & Collards Greens exceeded my expectations. It was funny, thought provoking and educational without being “preachy”. I am planning on see it again!

One of the best plays I’ve ever seen!!!

Platanos and Collard Greens was very educational and hilarious. I can’t believe it’s been out for 7 years. This play better than Broadway plays that I’ve seen. It needs way more recognition than it gets. If I had more than 2 thumbs, I’d give it 4 thumbs up! Absolutely enjoyable – went with my Grandmother and Aunt for Mother’s Day! I even got a chance to meet some of the cast members outside after the show – what a wonderful group of young minorities! Go out and support this diamond in the rough!

Favorite moment: Everything was my favorite moment, but I especially like when “Malady” mad did her monologue unforgettable and true!

Brilliant

Very very educational, brilliant, and hilarious. I took my wife and mother in law and they had a ball. I’ve been wanting to see this show for awhile, but never got a chance to. It was worth wait and I was glad to have spent it with my family Great show!!!

Platanos & Collard Greens was Superb!!

I’ve been wanting to see this play for years, and thankful it was still playing. My mother’s side of the family is Black. My father’s side is Black & Puerto Rican. This play pointed out sterotypes that both nationalities have (light-skinned vs dark-skinned; good hair vs bad hair). Awesome script!! So relative to today’s society!! Will go see again with other family members. Also, will recommend to schools…great History lesson
